    Gaona has accumulated rich experience in computer-aided design of casting process, especially in large-scale complex thin-walled structural castings. Based on the finite element software, we simulate the process of filling, solidification, and cooling of castings, and predict the change law of the temperature field, solidification field, stress field, shrinkage cavity and porosity of castings, so as to provide theoretical guidance for the design of gating systems and the optimization of process parameters. At the same time, we carry out research on boundary conditions such as defect criterion and interface heat transfer coefficient, so as to continuously improve the accuracy of casting simulation.

    Cooling Simulation

    In the design of forced air cooling system, temperature distribution of turbine disk is simulated by CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to optimize the distribution of air inlets. As a result, the even temperature in the entire disk is achieved to reduce residual stress in the disk after cooling, which is less than the traditional air cooling.
